This dynamic wall visually produces the Moire effect, demonstrating transformations within its surfaces and effects. The panels are designed to interlock into each other for structural support, both laterally and vertically. Depending on how a light source stimulates the wall, the shadows cast from the panels can be very exaggerated and complex.A mockup of this wall was assembled by our team using strictly plexi for the panels and dragon skin casts for the joints. Plexi was melted to accurate angles using a jig that we designed specifically for this project. We also poured dragon skin to be molds so that we could have flexible joints holding the wall together.
